At Secondhand Furniture Sydney, we specialize in the sale of pre-owned and second-hand furniture. As our products are used items, customers are strongly encouraged to inspect furniture in person before purchasing.

Inspection Prior to Purchase

Customers are responsible for satisfying themselves as to the condition, quality, suitability, dimensions, and appearance of any item before completing a purchase.

We encourage all customers to review photographs, descriptions, and measurements carefully and, where possible, inspect the furniture at our Marrickville warehouse before purchase.

No Change of Mind Returns

Due to the nature of second-hand furniture, we do not offer returns, exchanges, credits, or refunds for:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect choice

  • Finding a similar item elsewhere

  • Minor cosmetic wear, marks, scratches, dents, fading, repairs, or imperfections consistent with the age and previous use of the furniture

  • Failure to inspect the item prior to purchase

  • The item not fitting through doorways, staircases, lifts, or intended spaces

All sales are considered final once payment has been made.

Pre-Owned Furniture Condition

Customers acknowledge that all furniture is sold in its current condition unless otherwise stated. As pre-owned furniture, items may show signs of wear, age, previous use, repairs, and other cosmetic imperfections.

Such characteristics are considered normal and do not constitute faults or grounds for a return or refund.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.

If an item has a major fault, has been significantly misrepresented, or does not meet guarantees required by law, customers may be entitled to a replacement in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
